Montclair holds 2017 Food and Wine Festival and Bourbon & Biergarten

If you’re in Jersey on July 15, make sure to grab your tickets to the Bourbon + Biergarten Party from the Montclair Food & Wine Festival. This indoor/outdoor urban BBQ will feature an array of tastings from the region’s best restaurants, including Kimchi Smoke, Damn Good Chicken, Ani Ramen, South + Pine, and more. The libations will be flowing thanks to local spirit vendors Silk City Distillery, Jersey Spirits, David Bowler Wines, Sazerac Company, Fedway, and more. There will also be live music by Street Beat Brass as well as a Barbecue Competition with a $500 Grand Prize....

Last Saturday, Montclair’s Wellmont Theater became a secret jazz club taken over by flappers, gangsters, and great booze and food at The Speakeasy, presented by Montclair Food & Wine Festival (MFWF).
Some 700 people, many dressed in period garb, partied at The Speakeasy, posing for photos by a vintage automobile outside and dancing to the hot jazz inside by Brass Illusion.
This ‘thug’ — bouncer — will be pulling people out of line while they wait to get inside. The bouncer is going to ask these possible patrons if they know the secret password. If they do, the bouncer will escort them directly inside. The secret password is going to be leaked on The Montclair Food & Wine Festival’s social media, here, here, and here.
